To provide our NFA item tracking service, we collect:

• Account Information: Email address and password for authentication
• NFA Item Data: Information you enter about your NFA items including model names, serial numbers, Form 4 details, approval dates, and related documents
• Document Images: Photos or scans of Form 4 documents that you choose to upload
• Trust Information: Details about NFA trusts you choose to track

How We Use Your Information

Your information is used solely to:

• Provide the NFA item tracking functionality
• Sync your data across your devices via secure cloud backup
• Extract text from Form 4 documents using optical character recognition (OCR)
• Send password reset emails when requested

Data Security

We take the security of your sensitive NFA data seriously:

• End-to-End Encryption: All your item data and documents are encrypted before being stored in the cloud using AES-256 encryption
• Local Storage: Your data is primarily stored on your device
• Secure Authentication: We use Firebase Authentication for secure account management
• Optional Biometric Lock: You can enable Face ID/Touch ID or PIN protection within the app

Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or share your personal information with third parties.

Your data is only processed by:

• Firebase (Google): For authentication and encrypted cloud storage
• Google Cloud Vision API: For OCR text extraction from documents (temporary processing only - images are deleted immediately after processing)

Device Permissions

The app may request the following permissions:

• Camera: To scan Form 4 documents
• Photo Library: To import existing document photos
• Face ID/Touch ID: For optional biometric app lock

These permissions are only used for the stated purposes and can be revoked at any time through your device settings.

Data Retention & Deletion

You have full control over your data:

• You can delete individual items at any time within the app
• You can delete your entire account and all associated data from the Settings screen
• When you delete your account, all your data is permanently removed from our servers

Children's Privacy

Stamp Stack is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect information from minors.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new policy within the app and updating the "Last Updated" date.
